broadband/tv recommendations

Postby Pinkbabytots » Tue Aug 25, 2020 3:22 pm

Hi,

I've recently moved into a new Villa and the previous tenants were with Telecable but think that may now have been switched off. I'm currently back in the UK but my Sister is flying on Saturday to stay at my Villa. I'd like to have the internet and TV channels set up for her and was looking for recommendations taking into account that speed is of the essence here.

Thank you in advance.

Keep safe.

Wouldn’t imagine, for one minute, that an Internet provider would set you up without your NIE number and, more importantly, your signature

Hi,

As others mentioned, you are likely to need ID - passport / NIE - though you may be able to do on email. Telfy is good for the internet locally http://www.telfy.com/en/

TV-wise, it's different to the UK - better to work separately as I am unaware (13 years in this business) of any internet company that also offers 'the best' UK TV service (we are in Spain - so not like UK Virgin etc). Some of the internet companies do offer UK TV, but they are quite limited in terms of the content offered - most UK or European customers select a different TV service from their internet supplier.

We can help with all TV services - satellite or internet-based, which is where we specialise - internet wise, as long as you can get fibre to the property, there's not a vast amount to separate the main players Telfy/Vega Fibre etc.

Thank you everyone for taking the time out to reply which have been very helpful. For the time being, I've switched it back on with Telecable but will look at other options once I'm back in Spain in a couple of weeks.

Have a lovely day.
