I'm sure you can bring it over with any airline in your hand luggage but it's a good idea to take it out of your bag and put it in the Xray machine box separately, like you would do with a laptop.

I have brought over lots of things like that and always take them out of my case to go through the Xray, otherwise it may result in wasting time having your hand luggage held back and searched. This happened to me on a few occasions, once for a DVD player (I had a spare at home and decided to bring it over when ours in Spain died). I was told then to always be on the safe side and take out any electric/techno items and present them separately.

I also bring over a slab of my favourite mature cheddar cheese each time and after having my bag searched on one occasion, because they said the cheese looked a bit odd on the Xray, I now put my cheese in the plastic box with my laptop, tablet and hard-drive each time.

thanks jan. we get keys to our home in october,, lots of things to get in order-- where to get good beds,,, silly question but have you came across fama furniture,, wife insisting on this!! lol

Not sure if skybox qualifies as 'electronic' & needs to be turned on at airport security see new regulations - no idea how you would do that with no electric supply!
Also wonder if it can travel as hold baggage?
Would welcome anyone who has recent direct experience sharing please?
