can i just cancel my telfy tv or am I contracted for a year?

Ours was free for the 1st year and we cancelled after 10 months to give the required notice (I think it's just 1 month now). We still have their internet but didn't want the TV package which was due to cost us 10 euro per month.

We told the fibre broadband installers we didn't want it and we never had it, but they started charging after a year saying we'd had it for free. We explained we'd never had it or used it and they refunded the charges. This is maybe different from your situation, but suggests it can be cancelled even after charges start if you ask.

Yes you can cancel - we had the same free for one year deal and we cancelled with two months left.

We had the one year free tv when we went to the shop to cancel it they said as part of our contract it was now free. I asked them to still turn it off as we don’t really use it but they thought i was some sort of madwomen wanting it turned off as it was free so in the end just left it on and i check our bill every month never been charged for it.

Can I cancel Telfy TV?
