Digital box

Does anyone know what kind of digital box like a sky box I can get?

try tvtecnology they have lots of different ones, to suit all.

We used GoSatellite based in Quesada and chose the cheapest box, works fine http://www.freetvspain.com/category/receivers/

i bought a freesat box at home and brought it out....works great

I f you have internet there is a firm in Denia that sells a box pre loaded with every movie ever made, all the sky movies b4 sky get them and all the sports channels plus of course free sat. Cos one off payment of 130 Euro. Will post further details when I get them. All u nee is sat dish and internet connection. Was being installed at Sams bar yesterday afternoon. Don't know if its HD yet. Mike

Hello Michael,

Is that a normal UK Freesat box just plugged into the TV (without a dish) as I didn't think that would work?What channels do you get? I might be getting muddled with Freeview - If I am what do you need for Freesat to work in Spain?

We use a cheap TDT Spanish freeview which wouldn't suit most UK Residents in Spain or those who are hooked on their soaps etc but we are only here for three separate months of the year and it's enough for us as it has a language changer and if the programmes or films are American or British (which is very often) they can be automatically changed to English language instead of Spanish. The Spanish love their footie so there's plenty of games on the TDT (for my football mad family!) and they don't need to be in English, in fact we enjoy the commentary in Spanish, especially when Spain score!! There are dedicated film channels & the Disney channel too for the kids and big kids like us.
