The message could be a red herring. Could be....

That is the type of message you would get from your TV (not your TV set-top box), which would happen if you pressed a wrong button, which put you looking at Spanish TV (deep breath), but this type of message could be produced, if the Spanish terrestrial tuner had not been scanned (and that is what the message is related to if input set incorrectly).

It could be a mixing up of messages from the TV and the receiver. Make sure the input settings are correct on the TV and you are looking at the satellite tuner scanning & not the terrestrial scan/tuner or the TV's inbuilt tuner. Whilst do not know your specific equipment - based on what has been stated. Your TV will (usually unless v old) a terrestrial tuner and your Freesat box has its own one.

Freesat - is a UK brand/trade name - it indicates a satellite receiver with the UK ONLY specific weekly program guide. These type of boxes are supplied and warranty OFFICIALLY only in the UK. Any seen here, shipped over. A 'Free to air' receiver, is Euro/Worldwide, supplied and warranty in Spain, picks up more channels - but lacks the EPG. These we can get/supply.

It can be quite confusing sometimes, as TV's put a message up on the screen - though people not sure if the message is related to the TV box / receiver or the TV itself - this is often where the confusion can be. We often get calls with mentions of screen message 'no signal'. There is a signal, but the client has set the TV to terrestrial with no cable plugged in, but they are using a satellite dish. Somewhere a small wrong button press and you can have something like this occur. TV Input settings need to be checked to make sure.

If you need any more advice.
