Internet for holiday home

Internet for holiday home

Postby Sasta » Wed Oct 28, 2015 9:44 pm

Hello.
I wondered if anyone could recommend an internet provider for a holiday home. I would like the max mg possible during the period of time that I stay there but do not need a constant supply at the moment.
Thanks

I can highly recommend Skynetlink in Rojales, switch on switch off service, ideal for a holiday home. Good luck with it.

Hi - I've just been over to Torrevieja to install UK TV channels and Wifi - marvellous job completed in a very short period of time and with no mess - dvbLabs - check them out on-line - all costs itemised for whatever type of system you want - I opted for switch on/off on a monthly basis as and when required - 30 euros p/m

We have DVBlab and pay 19 euros each time we need it on. We phone from the UK as we are leaving home and they put it on for us - Because we do it this way we can have it on for the date we arrive, even if it's mid month, and it gets turned off one month later for only 19 euros (cost us just £14 in UK with our credit card last time).

Agree DVBlabs have been great as far as I am concerned. They seem to have speeded up the service where I live over the last year as it beats my service here in the UK. I'm on top of the hill with a good signal.

Just to set the record straight - DVbLAB have confirmed today that they have been charging 19 euros p/m for Broadband and 39 euros p/m for a combined package of Broadband AND UK TV Channels for the last 2 years ! - and excellent switch on /off service for Holiday Home owners in Torrevieja - highly recommended!

Jan, I presume there is a set up charge for this service. How much does this cost?

Thanks Jan.

I am very interested in this service.
Does anyone use DVBlab in or around the 'airstrip' or know what the signal is like for this area?
Do they let you know or do a survey to see what the signal is like before shelling out €179?
