We lost most channels the other day and it turned out there was a wasp in the tube of the LNB.
Had a poke around with a knitting needle (gently) which Mr. Wasp didn't like and he flew off.
All channels back O.K.
We now have a piece of clingfilm stretched tight across the LNB to prevent any more lodgers.

We had someone out to look at , thinks there was a fault with the box as well, so all sorted now
