You use them all the time on your mobile phones
I use a MiFi modem in my car most days all round the costa blanca and have no problem

Works well for me although not the cheapest if you’re downloading a volume of data.

Same principle as pairing with your phone as works from 3G or 4G signal

Hi, we used a MIFI before we had internet connected. Worked fine but can be costly if used for a lot of downloading.

Ive used a Huwieii 2550 mifi device for years, with a Three 3G sim, works great in Uk, works fine in Quesada (but only for 60 days). To keep using it here ill have to find a SIM that works in it, or buy a new device with a spanish SIM. The point is the 3G and 4G signal around Quesada is ok, in Torrevieja theres black spots - Los Balcones for example is very spotty. And thats really what you need to be asking, 'how good is the 3g or 4G siganl where I want to use it'.
