Hope this helps UK TV viewers all for FREE.

Always check the T&Cs of some of these apps, as accepting them allows your ip address to be opened up for use...by anyone...without your knowing... livenet for example is one according to this video : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yr8itE5DnXE

Thanks for That.............I didn't know, Although I allways use a VPN

As a former Mobdro user I was attracted to this post and Chrisdee kindly sent me contact details for Alan at Talking IPTV I got in touch with Alan at [email protected] last Sunday after making sure I could download DuplexPlay it took him about half an hour to set up a free trial and I have to say I was extremely impresed. The live TV has every UK channel I can think of and the sports coverage is very extensive including live football from SPL, Championship and EFL 1 and 2. Very useful for me as a Blackpool supporter saves me 8 euros a game. Picture quality is very good I have Telecable fibre broadband and there is no buffering at all. It also has access to a whole host of films and box sets - several hundred. Needless to say I have signed up for the 12 months.

Another way of saving money on subscription services such Nettflix etc is to sign up using a VPN via Turkey or India, or somewhere where the subscription is cheaper and more reasonable than they can get away with charging in wealthy Western Europe. Also, as Stu and Maz said sign up for the family deal and share.

I have a real problem with paying more to a multi bullion dollar private company, just because they think I can afford it. It's none of their business whether I can afford it or not. I want to buy it as cheaply as possible.

This post interests me, as have all the hosting & costs statistic, something doesn´t add up. This is simply a personal opinion with someone been working legally in the industry for over 12 years. Not some bloke off a local Facebook page using a gmail address - all of which can indicate a level of insecurity.

Companies generally pay similar hosting fees, so logically you would think prices from different providers would be similar. But it´s not the case, we see a great degree of variation - why?

Company 1. For this example 1 server can safely host 10,000 clients and has the appropriate bandwidth. The company pays for the hosting/bandwidth server. The maximum recommended capacity is 10,000 and that is what the company have stuck to. This keeps the maximum performance available.

Company 2. Offers what appears to be the same service. But at half the price? How? Simply put, they place more customers on the server than recommended - so if half price, the server loading could be doubled.

There is no way to get away from this fact.

I do not believe that purely based on mathematics, that you cannot have a stable system for the money mentioned or not without affecting the service.

Initially, this can go unnoticed as if channels being watched are not being heavily loaded, it will probably be ok, but the moment you have some really popular content, the problems begin.

Despite being employed to check equipment and test various services over a number of years, this issue has remained consistent.

You simply cannot offer the same service at half or quarter of the price, or not at some point without tripping up under loading.

Most people are cost-conscious, companies often exploit this and offer such bargains - 50% of the support I deal with is people having issues with providers.

Often companies have a set up of cheap and high client turnover.

Any local individual offering a 50 euro service for a year, is neither legal nor involved in the communications business and has just found some random crap off the internet to resell which they know nothing about.

If you believe this is a ´sour grapes comment - it is not. It is a statement of fact from someone employed in this industry to offer help and support to people.

Just be careful - it`s only 50 euros & that´s what they gamble on - people after a while give up, move to another etc - high turnover of clients, as customer satisfaction of service is poor.
