Clean the socket where the lead plugs into the tablet with a cotton bud dipped in alchahol, might have to trim the cotton bud, usually works

That is not a good thing to do as the may be a very fine contact pin inside and it is easily damaged by poking thing in plug that goes in there is shaped to contact the pin by waggling the plug about you could break it

Been doing it for years on iPads & iPhones never had a problem, a guy in the Apple shop told me to do it years ago in the uk,works every time just a gentle wipe, don't poke it.

Spray the charge lead, while wet plug it in to your tablet etc. I do not recommend to spray inside the tablet as other components can be damaged.

The spray 70% alchahol sanitizer spray does the same job, most of these cleaners are alchahol based, we bought ours Mercadona, used it to clean a printed circuit.
