Netbox by "Perspective - Espana"

Hi all,

Does anyone have experience of the "Netbox?" Apparently it is only a one off fee of €149 to install - no monthly fees, ariel or dish! Thousands of channels including movies and sports! Sounds too good to be true! I realise I will need an internet connection. As my location is up by La Marquessa golf area I read in this forum that "dvblab" is not an option so I am hoping to use "TeleSantaPollo" for this.
I am coming over for 12 days from Fri 14th (only my 2nd visit as an owner!)and am hoping to get it all up and running in that period. Any advice would be welcome.

Cheers :-)

Hi
We too have the Britbox, It has LOADS of selection & does exactly what they advertise. As you say with your Netbox you need internet connection
We are above the Golf course & have 6meg of internet with Telecable - HOWEVER it doesn't have a constant supply of 6meg & when the bandwidth drops (Which it seems to do of an evening) it doesn't run properly without buffering :(

Could you advise where to get the information on the 'Britbox', and who sells it.
This sounds very good and because of the satellite changes taking place at the moment, we are looking for an alternative.
We upgraded to a 1.4 Metre Satelite dish, to avoid losing the signal when the changes were made, but we are experiencing problems on some of the channels, so do not get a 1.4 dish without a money back guarantee!

Hi John, I have been emailed form a couple of companies who have listed areas and Quesada has a good signal on a 1.4 dish. The recent movement of the staellites has reduced the width of the beam so I would think your dish needs realigning as it has to be spot on now. Mike

Hi again,
Could anyone advise if it's worth paying the extra 35€ for the fancy "air remote" with the Brit Box or does the standard remote do the trick?

only if you are technically minded, we got one but have never used it, the small remote does the job. if you want to see the Brit box working pop round and will show you ours.

Cheers Dr Doolittle, could you pm me your address if it's within walking distance of Altos Golf 3? Mind you I walked to the Arches and back yesterday (got the blisters to prove it!)so you don't have to be that close :-)
