Prime TV HBO Netflix TV app

There are lots of adverts out today telling you that with a VPN you can access Netflix ,HBO Prime in a different country.
That is there .But Not via your TV app .
You can cromecast, use it on an android box . But not the version on your TV.

Ross can you clarify this please

Run the VPN at router level, rather than device level, and connect your TV to that router.

Or on most TVs you can change the DNS settings, so use a Smart DNS service instead of a VPN service, and that should allow you to use the apps on the TV.

The app you use the app on your TV has a unique number .
I tried different ways to connect to Netflix and Prime via my VPN .but it didn't work . I was going to get my money back from my VPN provider. The rep that I was talking to told me. He also showed me a fine print on Nord VPN website explaining.it
So it like this .
I have a VPN router .which means that I don't have to turn the VPN apps on on my TV ,pc , pad satbox or telephone at home. I can connect to Netflix or prime with my VPN on with all of these of these other than my TV.
