Remotely controlling the aircon

I have air-con/heater from Toshiba with wired control box in my property. The main unit is outside. I was wondering if it is possible to get a wifi connected controller for it so I can remotely turn it on and off over the internet.
And also if it is possible to add sensors that will turn it of, if for example, the sliding doors in the living room is open.
Any advice on local company that can help is appreciated.
