If you have a 1.4 metre or 1.8/19 metre round / not oval dish - a prime focus model, the LNB is open. You can tell as there is a open feedhorn attached to the LNB - as Sat & PC guy mentions - take a look for any evidence of insect infestation - can get wasps / spiders.

You have to get behind the LNB to see - only use something soft as there are small pins in the LNB - cable tie, or a can of compressed air, nothing hard like a pen. If a serious infestation, then the LNB may need pulling apart cleaning & re-assembling.

If its not the above - dishes do move over a period of time. so can be an alignment issue - though signals have been weakened a little the last few years, frequencies been moving about and will continue to so - changes with BBC frequencies and others. More changes from the BBC's still to come. ITV HD weak in many areas.

We've had feedback from technicians in a number of areas that in some areas now the 1.4's (offset/oval) are right on the edge of reception in some Freesat channels & are suggesting 1.8 dishes or as an alternative no dish IPTV services.

All you can really do (aside from LNB check) - is make sure dish is properly aligned, cable is in good order / not perished and have all connections checked.
