Telefonica connection only 3mb in quesada.

hello I know people often ask this question but I am not sure if things may have changed so I will ask again. I am buying for a new villa in quesada and have contacted Telefonica about the speed I may attain and have been told 3mb which with two children the wife and I all on iPhones or iPads isn't really going to be of any use. We will be located between the Patagonia steak house and the gamma supermarket. Can anybody tell me if any other firms are offering better speeds and if not what sort of speeds could I expect from a satellite internet system. Thanks for your help.

Check out Vodafone 4G I get around 26mb you maybe able to get Fibre from Vodafone up to 100mb

There are many "dead" areas in Quesada. Telefonica looked it up and said we would only get "up to" 5Mb in our area of Quesada. We went to Vodafone and they said there is no 4g coverage in out particular area (1k up or down the road we may have been alright). TV Technology has pointed out in the past that your particular area has poor coverage.
Be nice to get fibre optic but, on the Movistar Spanish community site, it is stated that only Alicante city and Elche and surroundings have good fibre optic at the moment with one person complaining he only gets 1Mb in the centre of Quesada and another just under 3Mb.
I think I read that a company like Ono or Jazztel or something like that was installing fibre optic but I don't know in which areas or, indeed, if they have done so.

Thanks for your replies I have been told by television technology that telfy would be my best bet does anybody have any experience of them.

I have recently used them as highly recommended on here. The two girls in the shop in Rojales were very helpful. Engineers turned up on time and were also good. Excellent service, I am lucky as am able to get Fibre.

Thank you for your reply I went to the shop today and they were indeed helpful . They told me I could get 10mb which although not great is far better than moviestar and they could connect me within two weeks.
