Telefonica
Telefonica
by Super Simon » Wed Nov 23, 2016 10:39 pm
Hi .
I am having huge issues trying to get broadband at my property in Dona Pepa .
All of the providers asked have struggled to gain any type of signal and I'm keen to find out how to finally resolve this issue .
A friend of mine suggested Telefonica / Moviestar and I've tried unsuccessfully to obtain a telephone number to speak to someone to arrange .
I'd be grateful if someone could offer some advice on the best way to get in touch with them ?
Many thanks
Simon

Hi
We have a list here. You could email a few of them and see who gives the best advice and choose one you prefer who can cover your area. Telefonica is on there too.

If you have the capability for a land line then in my view you won't get a better service/internet speed/phone/powerful WiFi modem than Orange. We currently pay 41.20 a month for the above with free national calls and 300 minutes to the UK free each month. Contact David on 651199406 or 966723766 he is their English contact and is very helpful.

That seems expensive but I suppose if you need a Landline phone it may be what you have to pay. SuperSimon has only mentioned Broadband and for just WiFi without a phone there are much better prices and some you don't pay for if you don't use it, such as the Switch on, switch off WiFi, which is ideal for Holiday Homes.

Guys ,
Once again thank you for all your prompt replies .
I've had a number of wifi providers out to my house with no success so I guess the best option will be Orange .
Slightly more expensive but at least I'll get internet access and free calls to the uk which will make up for the usual expensive mobile phone bills .
Many thanks and I'll let you know how I get on .
Kind regards
Simon

If you have internet you dont need a landline for phone calls. Skype works great.

'Whats App' is even better - Phone calls and instant messages for free on the mobile.

Skype works on mobiles. Charges only if contacting another mobile but still very low.

I decided to give David a ring as was thinking about moving away from Telefonica, he was very informative and was able to steer me in the right direction. For anyone else interested his landline number has changed to 966723877.
Thanks Nigel for posting.
