The Great Football con - beINSports ever increasing costs.

Many clients contacted us with beINsports subscriptions, wanting to find out if service includes Euro 2016. It does not, it is an extra. Most are not happy with this, but have agreed to pay extra premium (like UK Sky, they have no choice).

BeIN, seems it is not satisfied with just adding a reasonable sum extra on top of the existing package to upgrade to 2016 Euro......For existing customers with cards which expire between 10 June and October 31. In order to upgrade to Euro 2016, this is now only available with the full beIN package (not just beinSports). Clients within this period must upgrade to full beIN package + beinsports to have access to upgrade Euro 2016. Please contact us for individual cost as this will vary based on time remaining on existing card.

In summary you have to upgrade your sports only package, to the complete package (films etc), before they will allow you to upgrade to the Euro 2016.
Disgusting way to treat existing customers - though seems any company that has anything to do with Premier league football, knows how to treat their customers..Badly !

Is this any better than Sky & them expecting people to pay extra on the PPV channels? This is also the reason why many alternative services exist such as IPTV / card sharing. I suspect people are fed up of being ripped off.

Can you not just watch it on ITV and BBC?

Its free to air on bbc and itv, psys to have a dish!!

You can watch most of it on FTA - satellite dish as mentioned. However they will not show all the games. No doubt Sky / BT will also show some others. The main difference is that beIN will show every game. For the average person (or not 100% football obsessed) then that should be more than enough coverage.

However there are some - as well as commercial companies / bars which wish to show every last game or have the option to.

We have already had a few customers turn round to us and say they would not be prepared to pay beIN's extra costs for the Euro 2016. I don't blame them. Whilst the coverage of the Premier league is excellent, their service and rip off attitude, is not.
