Vega Fibre... Slow speeds

Hi All

Has anyone using VegaFibre noticed the very slow speeds lately. We have a 300mb connection and I sit approx 3m from the router.

I am aware that the 5G service has limited range but this is really slow.

have you tried switching off the router and leaving it for 10 minutes then plug it in again

Looks to me as though there is a fault on your router as the upload speeds are very good , have you contacted your supplier

I have rebooted the router without any improvement so the next step is a visit to the office.

I was just wondering what sort of speed others are getting.

i only got 17.8 this morning, fed up with getting them out and they say there is no problem,

I think you are lucky getting 17 mbps I am lucky to get 10 mbps and that's with a line of sight dish on the roof I can not get a mobile signal from any network but I still have no problems downloading or streaming films and TV

Just checked ours, 369 mbps download 260mbps upload We are with Vega Fibre in Benijofar

I have their 100mbps service which is continuously at 90 + mbps so I’ve never felt the need for anything faster than that as it serves all my needs, your location is very reliant on decent speeds, if you have lots of people using the same server then the speeds will invariably drop, you might be at the end of the chain that’s effecting your speed !
I certainly would not be happy with the speed you’re getting compared to what you’re paying for so I’d keep on at them !

Agreed, I'm off to the office this morning to try and get this fixed.

I went to the office in Montesinos on Tuesday to complain about the constant buffering. We have Fibre optic fitted by them and at the time of installation they assured us that buffering would not happen again. They told me that there is nothing they could do!! Terrible service!! I am going to look elsewhere for our service!! Any recommendations?? Thanks in anticipation!
