most Spanish villages have a "locoturio" also commonly known as an internet café.They would all have a facility of unlocking phones, normal price between 10€ and 12€.

Getting an Apple iPhone unlocked is far more difficult than getting other makes unlocked. The shop in Rojales who do the usual mobiles quoted me 250€ plus 30 days to unlock my iPhone 5S.
It's a nightmare if you have obtained the Apple phone from someone else and they have used the "FIND MY PHONE" app and left it activated, you have to speak to the original owner and get email and password etc to clear the phone.

:text-welcomewave: My iPhone was a hand me down from my daughter. I got it unlocked quite easily from Apple at a cost of £15. I think I emailed them and they sent me an unlock code and had to wait one day (although they quoted 3 days!).
