Wiring CD player into soundbar

I want to use my CD player through my sound bar rather than use it´s speakers.
The soundbar has only 1 phono socket for left and one phono socket for right. The rear of the CD player has a red and a black quick clamp socket for each speaker, ie two reds and two blacks.
How do I connect 2 phone plugs to the rear of the CD player?
Any advice would be appreciated.

Hard to tell without photos but usually there is an aux 3.5mm port in both a CD player and on a sound bar. Might be on the front of the cd player rather than where the speaker cables traditionally attach.

Thank you, that sounds more straightforward than using the speaker sockets.

So I just need a lead with a 3.5mm jackplug and a red and a white RCA at the other end and then plug into the headphone socket.
