Alicante airport bus timetables and information

Postby Jan » Wed Apr 23, 2014 10:17 am

Here are the details of the public buses that go from Alicante airport and *timetables (Some bus times may change to the Summer Timetable in June).
* Please use all timetables as a guide only - Fiesta days, Spanish bank holidays (Red days) and Sundays there may be no bus services or changes to the services - Always check the latest timetables before travelling.

If some photos haven't down loaded yet, just click on them to open.

The Alicante airport bus stops are situated on the second floor of the airport. If coming out of the big revolving doors on the 2nd floor, turn right and the bus stops can be seen from there. See photo here:

Here's the express bus (run by Grupo Costa Azul) to Torrevieja sign showing when it runs - The fare is €6.92 one way (at the time of posting 2014) - Children under 4 are free with ID -
Pensioners 30% discount ( Discount only for pensioners living in the Valencia region - Over 65 - NIE, DNI or residence card is needed to prove residency of the community of Valencia):

Hi Brian,
:text-welcomewave:
Welcome to the forum.

No the bus doesn't stop in Quesada I'm afraid. We have asked the bus company and they said that their contract does not allow them to stop there. It would be good if it did though!

Hi Jan,

Firstly, thanks for all the work you do to post such a variety of items that will be of interest to many of us.

Tis a shame we can't get a bus direct from Alicante airport to Quesada but hopefully that will come in time. Do you know where the nearest stop to Quesada is from the airport?

Thanks

You're welcome Gilly! It couldn't be done so well without the good help of all our members.

The nearest stop from the airport by bus is Torrevieja.

Hi Sue & John,

There is a bus timetable on this link that appears to be a regular airport bus service (El Altet is what Alicante airport used to be called) and it has a stop shown in Guardamar but I have no idea where it stops at the airport, as we could only find the stop for the express bus to Torrevieja when we were last at the airport.

http://www.costazul.net/index.php/en/ro ... torrevieja

I will try to check it out soon but if anyone has used this bus, please let us know.

Hi Jan,

I guess this place is the one to consider my claim for a solution getting from airport alicante to dona pepa by bus on sunday and -of couse besides- on working days.

I am arriving at ALC Airport at about half past 12p.m. on that Sunday.
As I figured out by myself in beforehand, there is a direct connection by bus to Torrevieja. But what about keep going til dona pepa from there on?
What is the distance in km, actually and would it make sense to hire a cab at Torrevieja Central Bus Station?
It would be very grateful to help me out this misery and help realising my trip to quesada.- Otherwise I would have to cancel the trip, I am afraid...... :( .
Greetings from Germany and bag your pardon for any mistakes within my English writing above ;-)!

Yes it could be the best way to get a but - An official taxi from Torrevieja may cost around 15 euros (always get a price first, if they do not have a meter)

The taxi from Alicante airport is around 45 euros if booked in advance - We use this taxi service from Alicante airport to Dona Pepa and they are very good - You can email for a price quote and they quickly reply to you:
Website: http://www.quesadataxi.com/
Telephone or text: 0034 614 617 444 (QuesadaTaxi)
Email: [email protected]

Or you can use this number for all the Rojales taxi's
One number for all taxis : 966 196 999

Hope this helps,

Jan.
