BUS TRANSPORT

Postby John B » Tue Mar 13, 2018 3:02 pm

Hi all I am new to the forum, I have just bought a property in Ciudad Quesada after owning in Tenerife. I expect to be in the property around November and cant wait. Is there a bus service to and from Quesada to surrounding areas Quardamar beach in particular. Look forward to being a Forum member.

Hi John welcome - no bus service to Guardamar, I know that there is one on Thursdays to Rojales market but sorry don't know of any others, probably some other people who know more will comment. Bus services is a thing we've never had sadly

If you Google autocares agostense you will find the timetable from rojales to guardamar, also others to Alicante, Orihuela etc. Some of the Rojales to Guardamar buses run through Quesada, best to check the timetable as I don't remember offhand which ones.

There are bus services to Guardamar from Quesada at 10:50 13:00 14:35 15:30 and 20:15.
From Guardamar to Quesada at 9:30 18:00 and 19:15.
All above Monday to Friday
Saturday service from Quesada to Guardamar at 13:00 14:05 17:30 21:15
From Guardamar on Saturday at 9:30 and 20:15 only
If you pop into the Centre in Quesada you can get an up to date timetable showing the route from the Arches.
There is a more regular route between Rojales and Guardamar but I've no idea where to catch it 7:50 10:35 12:45 14:20 15:15 18:50 20:00 with returns at 6.20 8.15 9.30 11.30 15.00 16.00 18:00 19.15
I don't know the route but I have seen the bus go round the roundabout by Cooper's Bar.

Thank you Marcliff, that's really handy info. Can I just check which Centre do you get the timetables from?

Municipal Centre in the middle of Quesada opposite Goyos. I should assume the Town Hall has them as well.
As in all things, give it at least 10 minutes before the scheduled time as I've seen them just go round the roundabout and on their merry way if no-one's waiting.

Hi All
I would like to do the coastal walk from La Glea beach (Campoamor) to Punta Prima. I was thinking of parking up at Punta Prima and then get a bus to Dehesa de Campoamor to start the walk.
Does anyone know if this is possible and the name of the bus company is so ?
Thank you in advance
