Shiva wrote:Actually some more info for you debbslad. Agostense go from close to the arches to Guardamar and back, have just looked up the timetables ( see link here http://agostense.es/res/uploads/Horario ... rdamar.pdf )
From what I can see, on School days buses TO Guardamar pass Ciudad Quesada at 10.50, 13.00, 14.35, 15.30 and 20.15. Not so many BACK the way via Quesada, only buses leaving Guardamar at 9.45am then 18.00 and 1915. ( There are a few more but they bypass Quesada going straight to Benijofar and then Rojales). Have attached a pic of the time timetable and also a pic of the list of stops.

Unfortunately Shiva, both those timetables you have posted are out of date, the new & current timetables are the ones you mentioned previously. The Agostense website, depending how you view it, shows two differing times for each of the routes you mention. The current up to date timetables a; don't pass throgh Benijofar, Quesada etc en route to Guardamar & b; the route to Alicante is much reduced ie; just one per day each way.
With reference to the Guardamar route, i know this to be fact as family members have waited on several occasions by the arches for buses that "didn't turn up" & when we queried this the bus company confirmed that route had ceased.

I think the only way to query timetables is to give a link or copy to a more up to date timetable, otherwise it's not a lot of help. Buses often do not arrive or are late but unless we have a latest timetable we can't tell if they are just late or whatever.

Spanish buses are sent to try us and whatever the bus company/driver says can change by the next week or so.

I've searched for up to date timetables in both Spanish and English. There don't appear to be any online and the ones that are just give a time from Almoradi or whatever and say "stops in Rojales, Benijofar and Quesada" but only give the time it leaves Almoradi.
Even then, they can be out of date as some are years old and the bus companies have changed.
Or you get, leaves Elche at 9.40, 11.30, 15.30 to Torrevieja with stops at San Fulgencio, Dolores, Almoradi, Rojales, Algorfa, Benijofar, Ciudad Quesada but no times of when they get here.
And from Torrevieja it's 7:00 – 10:00 – 14:00 – 18:00
Paradas en: Ciudad Quesada, Benijofar, Algorfa, Rojales, Almoradi, Dolores, San Fulgencio.
But, again, no timings for when it gets to Quesada.

I've even emailed La Inmaculada, Agotense and the municipal town hall for up to date timetables but have received no response at all.

Aargh! The timetables I linked to were those that came up on a web search TODAY on the Agostense site. Searched again just now after all your comments and Yes elchedave you are right it has reverted to the one bus a day to Alicante timetable and a different one for Guardamar. I give up .....

Shiva, it depends how you search the Agostense website, the timetables you posted are still available to view, but there is also another set of newer timetables there too. Please don't think you are "cracking up" because you're not :text-lol:

Dave
