That's interesting because we thought that was happening when we got on the bus for the return journey but weren't sure.
I wonder if they would accept receipts from the shops like Carrefour or the big hardware store nearby because, to be honest, we very rarely buy much in the Habaneras centre but do often buy in the surrounding shops. As I said before, we did have a drink in the Habaneras in Lazarran's so hopefully that receipt might have been ok...if we had been confronted.
Also, it makes it a bit awkward if you go there to get a certain something and can't find what you need (as what often happens!) and then have to buy something to show a receipt but then again a coffee or drink in a bar is no hardship. LOL

My daughter used the habeneras bus last Wednesday and she said you were meant to get your ticket stamped for the bus back. She did but said it was mostly Spanish people who hadn't bothered to get their tickets stamped and no problem getting back on bus.

Thanks for letting us know Laura. We didn't get given a ticket when we used the bus but that was a while back and maybe they have decided to do tickets now which is a good idea.

Good point Angie, much like the rogue gardeners that come from elsewhere to dump the gardening waste in the eco park, near the aqua park costing Rojales council thousands. Now you need a permit from the town hall but its still free. Mike
