There are no buses and taxis are not cheap. A week's car hire may be more economical.

There is one bus I know of that goes to Torrevieja from Rojales and I think it's still running - There's a timetable if you scroll down on this link:
http://www.talkquesada.com/quesada-general-discussion-f9/bus-services-in-quesada-t39.html#p3039
We have used this bus as it also stops in Quesada but you have to get the times correct as there is a big gap between approx 1pm and 4pm. Even the timetable is complicated but the town hall in Rojales is very helpful for all the buses and they have up to date timetables.
Rojales also has lots of other bus routes going from the centre of the town. It's a good town for buses, unlike some of the surrounding towns, although that doesn't mean much as the buses in Spain are all sent to try us! The town hall in Rojales (Ayuntmiento) should have all the details.
Hope this helps

Thanks so much for your advise!
Do you know if the bus stop at just nearby Steakhouse in the Rojales center (the same stop as the bus to Alicante)?

Yes I think so - There is a bank with a paved square and some stone benches where some people sit waiting for buses and the main bus stops appear to be around there.
Let us know how you get on when you get back. We have seen buses to Guardamar beach from there as well but don't know what the times are like.
All the buses we have tried have cheap fares but there's no point being in a hurry - The mañana mentality is rife on bus routes !

Hello, Jan. Thanks for the information so much.
By saying "no point being in a hurry ", do you meam that bus does not arrive at each station on time?
We ask this is because one day we need to take another train in Alicante for a day journey, so we may take Agostense bus, but we only have 35 minutes from the Alicante bus station to the train station, do you konw if the Agostense bus arrive in Alicante on time? And is that OK we can manage to reach train station within this 35 minutes?
Thanks so much.

Hello Julien,
I just meant that the buses are not always on time but that's always to be expected with buses, especially in Spain.
I don't know anything about the Alicante bus, so can't help you with that, but you could ask in the Rojales town hall when you get there to see if it is a reliable service to Alicante.
Hope this helps. If I find any further information when I am in Rojales soon, before you go out there, I will let you know.
Jan.
