There is a bus to the Rojales Thursday market (free).
Bit far to walk to El Zoco market on Sundays especially if you are carrying stuff back with you.
Depending on where about you are staying in Quesada then you can walk to the lake area but getting in is quite a way around. There don't seem to be many entrances and I've only found the ones by La Mata and Los Montesinos. Nice walk but a longish way.
Unfortunately Quesada is a place you need a car if you want to get out. Taxis outside the town are quite expensive (over 20 euro to Torrevieja, for example)and buses are few and far between and can't be relied on, TBH. Even if you do get one it's quite and exercise in planning to get one back.
There is plenty in Quesada, though. Lots of supermarkets and there is bound to be one close to you. Plenty of bars and restaurants dotted all over the place even if you are a bit far from the town centre. If close to the centre then there is everything you want.
