Nervous Bus user and 1st time visitor to Quesada

We are looking to book a holiday to Quesada for September this year. I am very nervous traveller, but would like to use the buses. I've read through all the transport and bus pages and the links (thank you to everyone), but I can't figure them out Never could use a bus timetable!
I'd like to know if we can go to Torrevieja? If so where is the pick up point and drop off and what are the times from Quesada and returning from Torrevieja (also how long it takes)? It is a lot to ask but it would be really helpful if someone could tell me rather than post the time table (or do both and help me how to read it?) I can speak quite and read pretty well in Spanish so it's not that's the problem, have the same in UK - I just seem to have a timetable allergy Maps would also be appreciated if they can be posted. (I'd also like to just say that I've been googling for about a week and can't seem to fathom it, so not lazy either). I have managed to find one bus stop near the arches at Quesada
The forum is excellent I must say, very informative and I have a plan of things we would like to do in our 10 day stay, it's just blooming timetables that get me!
Many thanks
Mikazza

A rather broad subject but I´ll try to answer some questions..There are few buses from Quesada to anywhere... but one goes about 9.35am from inside the arches near the petrol station and goes to Torrevieja. It comes through the arches from Benijofar then goes up Quesada to near Harry´s Bar which is quite high up in Quesada then comes back down. You can pick it up opposite the petrol station and have a 20 minutes run around Quesada, or wait until it comes back down again and catch it about 9.50 to go to Torrevieja. On its way to Torrevieja it also stops at Carrefour/Habaneras about 10 minutes from the Arches. Carrefour is a good supermarket and Habenaras is a small shopping mall... It then carries on to Torrevieja and stops at the small bus station near the marina. From there you can walk into Torrevieja in about 10 minutes... just follow the coast and you will get to the main promenade which is lovely, busy and has lots of bars and restaurants..if you strike inwards from the prom you will see many shops and more bars..
The return bus is about 1.00pm from the same small bus station (there is a larger bus station but that is quite a way off). The return bus trip to Quesada does the reverse of the outward run. It costs about 1.80 euros each way. That is the only bus from Quesada to Torrevieja..
Buses are easy to catch, the drivers are very helpful but don´t rely on them to come when they are due.. they may be 10 mins either side... Quesada is not well served by buses. You can get more buses from Rojales (which is the parent town of Quesada) and the buses from Rojales go to Alicante, Orijuela, and Torrevieja. Don´t be worried about catching buses they are fine, but make sure you can get back..You can ask the driver about the return times.
There are of course coaches that will take you all over the place and you might want to check those out..
Buses here are a bit old fashioned. The driver will wait for you if they see you trying to catch the bus, they will help older people on and off, they will help ladies with babies etc, so if they are a little late, it might be because they have had to help some one on or off the bus..this is Spain.. be patient.
There are taxis of course and they are reliable, but just be aware they can´t pick you up outside their designated area.so you can get a Quesada taxi to Torrevieja but they can´t pick you up, you have to use a Tottetaxi for that.. easy to get, just ask a bar to call a taxi for you They all have meters so they won´t rip you off..you should also ask the driver how much it will be, they are usually happy to tell you.. it is about 20 euros to Torrevieja... but if there are 4 of you it is only 5 euros each)
I hope you enjoy the time you have in Quesada..

David’s coaches and Rosa tours do great day trips from Quesada to a lot of places of interest usually 11 to 14 euros ....very good and reliable!

Probably because nobody used them? There was a bus from the Arches to Torrevieja at about 13:30 but I've seen it come, go straight round the roundabout and back out with no-one waiting.
The Guardamar buses regularly went past Cooper's with not a soul on board.
Most of the timetables on line are now out of date and those buses no longer run. I did ask at the municipal centre for a new timetable but was told they only had old ones and new ones were being produced (that was summer last year and a similar request this year got the same response)

Does anyone know for sure if the daily Rojales bus still runs (thinking this might help these people as there are more routes from Rojales).
