Rojales to Elche Bus Stop

Has anyone used the Rojales - Elche bus? Where is the final destination stop? the coach station?

I'm just looking at alternative options for getting to the Airport by bus. There is a service between Elche and the Airport. I'm just wondering about options to get to Elche-Rojales.

Wasn't aware there was a direct Rojales - Elche bus.
Thought you had to go via Orihuela.
Otherwise for airport by bus means:-
1] Rojales to Guardamar, bus to Alicante & Alicante to airport.
or
2] Rojales to Torrevieja, airport bus Torre to airport.

We were living in Elche before we moved here a couple of weeks ago.

We caught the bus from Elche bus station all the way to Quesada arches. It took about 2 hours. There is a timetable online, Vegabus.

Then I think it is the 1a or 1b from the bus station again to the airport and these are frequent and cheap.

There is definitely a bus from outside the Steakhouse in Rojales to Elche... not sure about the times but you can get a time table from the town hall...

That's what I was hoping julesypop. I didn't realise it stopped at the arches as well. I'll have to try the vegabus website. I couldn't find it last time I looked. So basically it's possible to get from the airport to the arches only swapping at elche bus station... Sounds like it's worth digging further.

We have this information here on the forum (see link below and a timetable copy showing the Rojales to Elche bus timetable - The latest we have at the moment is 2014 but they don't appear to change much year on year). An up to date copy of this can be obtained at the Municiple centre in Quesada or Rojales town hall.

Doesn't really give much information does it Jan? Be nice if they had details of the bus stops. Rojales - Elche doesn't even mention the arches. The timetable at the rojales steakhouse still mentions various stops along the way to torrevieja. I get the impression the buses aren't used because no one knows any details.
