Trains from San Isidro Catral to Alicante

We are staying in Alicante for 2 nights and want to take the train.
I have found the timetable.
Is there a charge to park at the station?
Can you buy a return ticket or just get a single ticket on the day?

No charge for parking at San Isidro, there is a ticket machine on the platform where you can get single or return tickets (you need the ticket to get through the turntable at Alicante) last time I used the machine it wouldn't take cash (dispite provision for it) it only took card.

Best way to travel nice and relaxed

Its a funny station to find. If your driving from quesada , go o to the A7 and take the 1st turnoff. The station is just off the next round about. Goggle maps. Sends you past this turning for some reason.
