The simple answer is-----
There is no service.

Yea there is... but it´s not too good..

You can get the bus from Quesada to Habaneras Carrefour, Torrevieja Hosptial and Torrevieja at about 9.40am...Return at 1.00pm

..there are others..but I don´t have the Time table at the moment..

Over to you Jan..

Sorry but that statement is wrong !

As mondo has said there are bus services to different areas. They take some getting used to but with a bit of planning it is possible to travel to Torrevieja, Rojales, Guardamar, Elche ,Benijofar, Torrevieja hospital and Carrefour plus a few places inbetween. The Municiple centre in Quesada and town hall Rojales have all the local bus timetables.

In this section of the forum (see link below) there are bus timetables for local areas to give an idea of destinations and times - Although these may be from 2014, the timetables don't change very much. However, there are Winter & Summer changes to all bus timetables in Spain but up to date ones can always be obtained from any town hall - Always check the latest timetables before travelling.

Prices are very reasonable - Last time I travelled ( late 2014) it was under 2 euros (each way) for Torrevieja - Guardamar was about the same.

Hope this helps.

ARGHHHH.....ARGHHH and double ARGHHHHHHHHHHH

.... They have just changed all the bus times..... just been to Rojales Ayuntamiento and all the times are different...

...you will need a new time table from either Quesada or Rojales....

.the buses still run.... just at strange times.....

The strange times are usually Summer times - The bus drivers need their siesta...sometimes for about 4 hours after lunch!  I do sympathise with them as it must get very hot but the bus service stops for ages.

Any chance you can put them on here or send them to me on an email ( [email protected] ) I will get new ones when in Spain but be good to have them now. These ones are generally not put online by the bus companies who are still in the 'dark-ages'. Lots of other companies in Spain have websites with latest bus timetables like we do in the UK but it's taking a while for others to catch up.
