2nd Jab for 60 -65 year olds ( Astra Zeneca)

my 2nd jab which was due next week has been cancelled , does anyone have an update on when these may be administered

I think that’s a guess. My other half has been to Lo Marabu (again!) this morning and they’ve run out of AZ. They’ve no idea when they’ll get more.

In another article it's reported that Ximo Puig is asking for compensation for the 100,000 vaccines issued to Valencia that have been used to vaccinate visitors. It sounds as if he's asking for financial compensation when extra vaccines would be much more use. That could be something lost in translation, maybe someone who can read the articles in Spanish can throw some light on that.

I think the bit about the AZ jabs is the second jabs for the keyworkers.
They were given AZ before the age restriction came in for the 60-65 (and then 60-69) year olds. So they’ve been waiting much longer for their second jabs and those of us who had dates cancelled for next week are still behind them in the queue.
Is there limit as to how long they can wait between jabs. I’ve heard 16 weeks. If it’s longer than that we will have to start again from scratch with two jabs of another vaccine.

Hold the press! I’ve just had a telephone call to ask me to attend the lo marabú health centre tomorrow morning, for my Covid jab. Could this be the light at the end of an extremely long tunnel? I’ll let you know if it actually happens and which flavour of vaccine they give me. Hope it’s the pina colada, I love that little hint of pineapple, blended with coconut.

Which year were you born?

My wife is 65 and got a phone call for 9.30 at Lo Marabu, tomorrow.
