Re: All of Spain in lockdown from 8.00am Monday 16th

I live on a Community and I wondered how we stand with the use of the swimming pool. A family close by have had visitors for 2 days running. They amount to 12 persons and 3 of them are young children..
They are using the pool facilities all day, carrying their picnic baskets and cold box, I must say they are very noisy day and night with loud music. Point being is there a problem with this virus concerning the water and the ground around it. This is a social activity and I read they were banned. Thank you.

I don't know if this has already been said in this topic but there is conflicting information as to whether the lockdown started last night (Saturday 14 March) or from 8am tomorrow (Monday 16 March). For safety we recommend assuming the lockdown is now already in place.

It is in place here in Daya Nueva the police are telling people to go back to thier homes if seen out side apparently. I am in my home so cannot verify it but according to the N332 facebook page people are already being warned and fined.

El Mundo is reporting that the lockdown started today and not tomorrow.
For those who seem worried about taking the dog for a walk, they also print this:

CAN I TAKE THE DOG OUTSIDE?

Yes. This is one of the exit circumstances that is allowed. However, it must be done individually. It is not worth that the whole family go for a walk to the poodle. The dog can be given a short walk and taking care of contact with other people at all times. Prevention recommendations must be followed carefully.

Just seen this on CAB Spain

Citizens are only allowed to leave their homes, individually (unless accompanying a disabled person or for another justified reason) both on foot and by car
