Bars and Restaurants to close

Postby Chet » Fri Mar 13, 2020 6:21 pm

I have just been told that as from midnight tonight all bars and restaurants are to close for at least 15days. Can anyone confirm this is correct.

I waited in the Q 40 minutes
Only went in for washing powder....

It’s madness.... shops and chemists are open as usual
Feel sorry for the OAP’s that need basic essentials

With difficulty I think. I was speaking with the owner of a restaurant tonight and he said he still has to pay his rent, electric and wages to his staff plus he has to pay the social security amount every month whether he works or not, and as he has to close the restaurant he will have no money coming in. It's going to cause lots of problems and hardship for people.
