Covid Passport to enter Valencia region hospitality venues

As it was announced yesterday that covid passports must be shown to enter hospitality venues in the Valencia region from this Friday 3rd December, bars and restaurants with a capacity of 50 or more will be using scanners to check everyone as they enter and the scanner must turn green for acceptance.

Does anyone know if the UK NHS Covid passport QR code will be accepted by these Spanish scanners?

I couldn't find it because it was under 'Quesada general discussion' and I was looking in the 'Coronavirus discussion in Quesada: Covid-19 news and updates' thread.

Covid passports will be required in all hostelry venues including bars, restaurants etc even if the capacity is less than 50.

Also extended to cinemas, gyms, theatres, recreation centres and any establishment where food and drink is served.

Announced at a press conference with Ximo Puig at lunchtime today and needs the approval of the supreme court of Valencia before coming into effect.

He will also be in a virtual meeting with the Prime Minister and other regionals presidents on Wednesday and has said he will ask for the covid passport to be used throughout Spain and for the extended use of facemasks outdoors.

So when do you think this will become lawful, when will the supreme court sit to approve this

Probably today or tomorrow. It will then be published in a DOGV and will take effect from then until January 31st.

Also to be requested for entry to swimming pools, sports centres and gyms.
Waiting for the DOGV but he said it was to cut down transmission in indoor spaces so the swimming pools etc must mean indoor ones.

Some restaurants have asked for permission to request the passport on terraces as well so will look out for that but not mentioned in his press conference.
