Something popped up on facebook today but I cannot find it for the life of me, it was saying 160,000 extra Astra Zeneca doses were arriving this Friday and they would start to call the over 65's, did anybody else see this? Thought they weren't going to give it to the over 65's

In Spain, AZ is only approved for people born between 1956 and 2003, both inclusive.

Great news that vaccinations are being given to under 65s now - hopefully not too long until over 65's will receive their jabs too.

I am confused by vaccine rules (no surprise there). I assume Annier999 is right re AZ but what about the other vaccines which are allowed to be used.

There are 3 or 4 other vaccines allowed to be used, are we still receiving supplies of those. Presumably they will be used for over 65s. Has anyone seen info on those?

The Pfizer and Moderna and Johnson one , when it arrives, I thought were still being used for the age groups, so finishing the 80 year olds this week and now going down into the next age bracket, The AZ, original used for the forces, police etc is now being given to 65 and below, so it seems they have started at the bottom of the “vulnerable” age group as well as continuing with their original descending in age group plan for vaccination, ,

I know there are loads of threads on this so it is difficult to miss things.
This week those born between 1942 and 1946 are being called.
(as are those from 1956 to 1958 but that's for the AstraZeneca jab in Torrevieja).

Have to wait a bit for the 1947 to 1949 ones being called.
