New Restrictions from 30/03
by marcliff » Sun Mar 29, 2020 1:25 pm
New restrictions come into force as from tomorrow, 30th March.
All non-essential work is to cease. This means building, construction, real estate, cleaners apart from those employed in vital sanitary work.
Banks will remain open but insurance companies that operate from public offices must close.
In the Valencian region, small food shops that were allowed to open on Sundays will not be permitted to open on Sundays except bakeries and newsagents.
These extra restrictions will last for the next 2 weeks until April 9th when they will be reviewed.

I was walking my dogs today, and saw two people roaming around and popping into their neighbours! What part of keep at home, don't they understand??? It really annoys me as this is a very serious situation and some people still seem to be taking it lightly. I felt like reporting them, I won't of course, but just wanted to yell at them to get some sense.

A taxi pulled up to take a couple home from Mercadona. He got out NO MASK ON NO GLOVES ON took the shopping off them, opened the door for them and they were off.

I was angry earlier, why. Here in Doha Pepa I saw are local community's pool & area cleaners here .
But I then saw that they are out spraying .. Disinfecting Places where people have been walking and touching .
Remember no one knows how long this virus can last on surfaces.
Stay safe. Shop once a week .Do not go on Saturday to many people
Wipe off your goods when you get home.
The 5 second. Drop rule . No way
STAY AWAY FROM THAT CUTE CHILD .
WHO YOU LOVE! RUNNING AROUND OUTSIDE.
While the parents half heartly shout for them to come in.
HE COULD BE THE DEATH OF YOU.

I have read that couriers are still out delivering but the increased restrictions states postal workers are no longer regarded as an "essential" service.
Amazon site says it will take longer for couriers to reach you as they will only go out when they have a lot of deliveries to make in one area. It doesn't say they are stopping them, though.

Thank you for all the information posted, it's all very helpful. I wonder do any of you know if there are disposable gloves to buy anywhere?

I don’t think postal workers have been taken off the essential list.
I’ve just read it and they’re definitely still in it, in fact the Rojales post office is currently open
