Visitors from London and the SE

I do hope that, those of you that are expecting visitors from London and the SE, will do your utmost to discourage them from traveling. If they are prepared to defy their own Government’s instructions, I wonder what other measures, restrictions and guidance they are prepared to brush aside.

Very true, but all throughout this virus people travel against government advice and spread and prolong it but they seem to have attitude, all right for me? Quite a few on this forum.

But surely they will have a negative PCR test to enter Spain so it doesn’t matter where they come from.
Happy in the sun.

Agreed but, where were these people in the hours in between the test and the flight, do you know?
Also, that negative PCR is a requirement of the Spanish Government on all EU travellers. The UK’s instructions are, do not travel from tier four areas. Quite explicit and not open to any interpretation.

I think you’ll find the rest of the UK have been asked not to travel as well so need to target people from London and the SE .
I’m certain that the majority of people who booked earlier in the year would happily not travel as the virus ramps up but the airlines don’t help when they make it so difficult and costly to cancel / move flights to later dates .

Travels from the UK to Spain were advised against traveling. Those in tier four areas are prohibited
From gov.co
“Following identification of a new variant of the virus, international travel from your area may be increasingly restricted because of domestic regulations. Different rules apply in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. For example, those in Tier 4 areas in England will not be permitted to travel abroad apart from limited exceptions, such as work purposes. Follow all the rules that apply to you.”

I think main problem is that the majority of governments have for most of the year asked people not to travel unless essential, but people have a very funny idea of essential, no holidays, no visiting holiday homes, I myself have a holiday home and like the majority have not visited. It's seems people only take notice if the government bans travel , just like children you can't be trusted.lol
