Dog Walks

Hi everyone, my first post, so apologies if it's all been asked before.
Is there lakes / shallow rivers, accessible river banks anywhere in or near Quesada, to take the dog for a paddle in, preferably fresh water?
He doesn't swim but loves the water.

Playa Flamenca gave a dog beach so dogs can run in the water. Facing the beach turn left walk the walk round to the cliffs it will be on your right, no doubt other dogs will be there too

Thanks for that info re Playa Flamenca. Only trouble is, he's too excitable around other dogs.
And thank you cheflady, he is like Marmite, some people come over with their kids and give him loads of fuss, others cross the road to avoid him.

I know that feeling very well we get the same reaction with Asbo our fantastic Staffy!

I have visited the area for quite a few years not found any riverbanks for our dogs i am afraid
