Golf

As our "new" place overlooks La Marquesa golf course I thought I'd get back in to the swing of things so to speak.

Does anybody know how much membership is? Their website just mentions season tickets for 12 rounds at 580 euros.

Hi John, I'm also just up from the golf course. I looked at it before a few years back and found it was very expensive, around 2,000 euro as I remember. What i do now when I'm over is to check out all of the local courses and there are normally good deals to be had. When I pay La Marquesa I normally walk 9 holes (the back nine is nicer) or get a buggy for the 18. Enjoy, Noel

Long shot, but years ago I knew of a "Noel" that played golf in Cumbria area, are you him?

Not unless Cumbria is in Ireland lol. I play more now in Spain due to the weather etc. Some great courses in the area, Las Colinas is my favourite and there are rumors that the Spanish Open will be held there soon. Another way to play is to join one of the many societies in the area, there are 2 close to you (Shennanigans and the Bull Flannagan). I'm due back out in April, may looking at getting a game then.

Not you then I'll look in to the "Society" way next time I'm over.
