The main guy (can't remember his name) spoke English. If you use the air pistol range I think you use your own guns, but you can use the clubs guns (proper fire arms) in the fireing range, but I assume you pay for bullets. When you have past your fire arms test (there's one every three months) you can buy your own gun. The cost works out around 280€ for the year and there are no weekly fees!
When you get your fire arms license you do need to pay for that, I think that was 60€ a year.
They are mainly Spanish (there are more Brits there in the summer) and they seam like a friendly bunch. I got on ok with my Spanglish and iPhone translator but a good way to practice Spanish! Oh, and there's a nice bar there for snacks, tapas, drinks etc and there are regular competitions.
Hope this helps
Cheers

Hi Mike, do you know whether the club members only shoot olympic sports target pistols or do they shoot non target pistols, i.e. conventional hand weapons ?.

Thanks.

To All, the Rojales gun club is brilliant, like I said before, mainly live fire but they do have a ten meter air pistol range. Very nice people and a nice bar with tapas and all drinks! Once a member, you can bring your own air pistols and ammo and use the range as much as you like. Also live fire; you can use club guns (38's & 22's) buy ammunition and also use the 25 metre range as much as you want!
Plus there are regular competitions and social stuff going on!
Cheers

Is it just me?..
.. or do others think a bar selling booze then lending you a .38 Smith and Wesson to play with really is a good idea?

Well, we don't play with guns, we shoot them! And you can have a drink if you want after you've been on the range and lot of the members are police men/women anyway.
If it was a club of football louts I'd probably think the same, but it's not!
