The cultural centre in Quesada run free courses from beginners up to advanced level. Start in October and run through till June. Usually 1 - two hour lesson per week. Also Rojales town hall operate a " buddy " system whereby they will put you in touch with a Spanish person who wants to practice English so you can practice your Spanish.

for the free lessons that Rojales run you need to register at the cultural center in Sept and you need a copy of your padron. But they are good, very intense. :P

I would love to have a Spanish speaking person who wants to learn English. I would love to advance in Spanish.

We took part in the 'buddy' system for 2 years. They call it language 'Intercambio' and it's free of course.

You need to ask at the Rojales town hall where they take your details and then they contact you when they have 'married' you up with partner.

We met with 2 girls every week which was good, but you set your agendas, etc.
The girls were both studying English at college and wanting to pass their exams, so brought some of their course work which was good and challenging.

Also good to get involved with Spanish organisations, clubs, etc.
In my case I am involved at the art caves - not a member of their association as my Spanish isn't good enough - but great to meet fairly regularly and chat as much as I can with other artists there etc.

Visit the town hall in Rojales and ask at the information desk, where they'll register you and put you in touch with Spanish person.

If you want a bit of Spanish on line try Duolingo...it starts slow but builds up to some complicated stuff..

Not like one-to-one, but it helps the vocabulary...and it´s at your own pace..
