Just go in and sign up. The lady Spanish teacher who drives the black BM parked outside is excellent. Mike

A few years ago, when I spoke to the Spanish teacher at the ayuntamiento, she said that it was for residents only. She said that you had to buy a course book and were expected to attend a complete years course - I forget how many years the course is over. Some of the people on my community have been going three and four years. That's the reason why I went to Berlingua - because I could just drop in and out of courses when I was over in Spain. There is also a good Spanish teacher, who hires a room over the Spanglish bar, and some of my neighbours go to this one.

Thanks Sandra, don't suppose you know when she is there, so when I am back I can give her a visit, but I will not be back till the end of September.

I'm sorry, I really can't remember the day/time that I went. I "caught her" at the end of a class. Unless someone can come up with a day all that I can suggest is that you pop along to the town hall and ask at the reception. I am not sure if the teacher can speak English! I think that the classes are a good idea - but the only downside seems to be that the classes are quite big 18/20ish and obviously you do not get a huge amount of "talking time".
