Morning Martin, thank you for this. I tried to get to the cultural centre yesterday because they have a sewing and embroidery get together on Thursday afternoons, but my sat nav kept sending me to the motorway, which I didn’t want to use. I got as far as Benijofar then turned back. Can you or some kind soul on here advise me of the route avoiding the motorway? Thank you very much.

I would put it on your satnav & ignoring the instructions, take the N332 till just past Guardamar - not long the road becomes dual carriageway.
Then take the slip road signed Los Montesinos & then start obeying your satnav which should have recalculated the route.

You can change the settings on the satnav to “avoid motorways “
