New, Online Art Classes

Many of you will know I have been teaching recreational art classes in the area for more than 17 years. Now it is possible to have an online art school, and I'm excited to tell you that this weekend I have launched my new classes, and you can see the first tutorial for free on artforeveryone.teachable.com

The classes start right from the beginning, teaching the basics of observation and simple drawings and the first three tutorials teach you look at where the light is coming from, proportions, perspective and negative spaces - all of which give you the tools to draw almost anything.

Later tutorials will go on to watercolour painting, pastel, acrylic and eventually oil painting.

There is a forum to join, much like this one, where you can chat to other students and upload your work for constructive comment. There are also subtitles for the hard of hearing.

So, if you've always wanted to learn to paint and draw, this is a course you can do in your own time, and I promise you will be amazed at what, with a little effort, you can achieve.
