Night Life

Does anybody know of any night clubs in the area? I ask not for my wife and I but for our children. Children? The youngest is 19! When they come to visit they are sure to want to dance the night away somewhere.

I think you will find that Rojales or Torrevieja are the best places for Disco's - Tell your kids not to make the mistake of asking for a 'Night Club' or they may get a few disapproving looks. Apparently as juvenile or old fashioned as 'Discotheque' may sound to them, it is what the Spanish call a Dancing Club. I expect you can guess what a 'Night Club' is in Spain. :naughty:

They used to have a disco upstairs at the old Don Carlos in Quesada High Street but not sure if they still do. There is also one called the 'Firefly', if it's still there, halfway down the Los Arcos road in Quesada, near the bowling Alley, upstairs above Howards Gym.

Hope this helps.

hi jan there is no longer a disco in the upstairs at don carlos, that closed a while back however there is a disco up above howards gym it is no longer called firefly tho im sure its now called the ice bar, also there are many late bars and disco,s in rojales which is the full length of the los palathios street, this it the next street after mas y mas and dia supermarkets, these clubs and bars stay open until 3 or 4am especially in the summer, this whole street is very busy in the hotter months but it is very spanish :)

Thanks Jan and Shirlie Anne. I'll certainly let them know to ask for a disco rather than a night club when they are over. :text-lol:
