Spanish Lessons

Spanish Lessons

Postby jennyspain » Wed Mar 06, 2019 11:51 am

Hi. Does anyone know of a Spanish class in or around this area. We used to attend Alan's class in Benijofar but sadly he has retired and gone back to the Uk. The classes are now with new teachers and we are not doing very well with them. We are still at beginner level but have had 47 lessons to date. If anyone has any ideas we would be very grateful for a name and possible contact details. Thank you.

Do you want to learn a language for free and with a native?

The Youth Council of Rojales rescheduled linguistic exchanges between Spaniards and foreign residents

The Department of Youth has rescheduled language exchanges for this season, between Spaniards who are learning a language and foreign residents who are studying our language and Spanish culture.

Registration is now open for these exchanges, which will take place both at the Ciudad Quesada Cultural Center and at the Social Center of Rojales. There are two modalities of exchanges, tandem or group conversations. These exchanges of knowledge will be done practicing for half the time the Castilian language and the other half the chosen language.

This activity aims to encourage the integration of foreign residents with residents of the municipality is a step in the integration of foreign residents in the society of the municipality.

I recommend the Berlingua Spanish lessons which are behind Jumerca supermarket / in front of Coopers in Dona Pepa . They have groups for different abilities. It is a small classroom format and is fun. Nobody is made to feel they are not a good learner. The lessons follow an excellent book which also has practice exercises. It is best to do a few hours per week and if you block book it works out cheaper - less than 5 euros per hour.

We run Spanish lessons from our home. They are based on having fun, not too much grammar (although it has to be included!) and taking it step by step. The classes are held in Formentera del Segura. If you want details, please message me and I'll happily provide them.
Thanks.
