Best places to visit from Quesada?

Best places to visit from Quesada?

Postby renzo » Fri Oct 10, 2014 10:04 pm

Hello

We're visiting Quesada later this month for the first time, we'll be staying in a friend's place and hiring a car and really looking for general advice on the best places to visit.

We've planned out a few day trips to Benidorm to a waterpark and amusement park but things closer to Quesada seem to be harder to plan out. Looked at the Santa Pola boat trip, waterpark in Torrevieja and Guardamar beach but really don't want to miss anything obvious.

Any recommended restaurants would be great too, thanks!

Hi Renzo, :text-welcomewave:

Wishing you a wonderful time in Quesada. You don't say who you are travelling with - young family, older children, all adults etc so a little difficult to give ideas. Not sure you'll find an aquapark open at this time of year but you may get a few good ideas from elitepm.org.uk/rojales, spainmadesimple.com and eurotourguide.com websites.

Happy holidays :D

Oh sorry, family of four with two boys aged 8 and 10. They'll be very happy chilling by the pool a lot but it would be good to get some days out.

Thanks!

Hi renzo,
I think you will find all the water parks and theme parks have closed for the winter when you come but you can see lots of information on here, including restaurants and coach trips:

I'm sure you will find lots to do, especially if the weather stays as good as it's been.

Enjoy your time in Quesada.

The spa at Fortuna and Achena near Murcia is nice - with volcanic heated pools in amazing countryside. The domestic pools are too cold for most people now - though kids are more hardy! If you go to Benidorm you will all love Mundo Mar, which is a smallish SeaWorld type place and has the best dolphin show I've ever seen. There's a restaurant and playground as well as lots of animals and a sea lion show.

Hi there, We recently went to the Waterpark in Benidorm, which closed at the end of September, Quesada waterpark is also now closed, I'm not sure about the one in Torrevieja. We also did the trip out to Tabarca Island (From Santa Pola) & I would say well worth the visit, we took our own food along with us, the snorkeling was amazing, couldn't believe the amount of fish we saw. If your boys can swim, they sell cheap enough masks & snorkels at the Chinese shops, I would recommend to get the water shoes too as it's not sand around the island it's stones, so will be easier on the feet. Another place to visit is the Grand Designs house, Casa La Pedrera which is not too far away, wonderful scenery, they offer quite a few activities for the children, even just nice to go for a coffee & enjoy the surroundings, here's their link: http://thingstodoinspain.info/
I'm sure that you will enjoy what ever you manage to do, have fun :)
