How to get from Alicante-Airport to Dona Pepa on Sundays

How to get from Alicante-Airport to Dona Pepa on Sundays

Postby Lullaby » Sat Jan 10, 2015 11:55 am

Hi everybody,

I am planning to come for a fortnight stay to Dona Pepa and need to know the link with the public transportation from airport Alicante onwards.

Is there anybody so kind to lend a helping hand?
Kind regards from Germany so long,
Melanie

I have posted the same answer on your question in theAlicante airport bus timetables and information 2014 topic as well:

Yes you could get the bus from the airport - An official taxi from Torrevieja may cost around 15 euros (always get a price first, if they do not have a meter)

An official taxi from Alicante airport is around 45 euros if booked in advance - We use this taxi service from Alicante airport to Dona Pepa and they are very good - You can email for a price quote and they quickly reply to you:
Website: http://www.quesadataxi.com/
Telephone or text: 0034 614 617 444 (QuesadaTaxi)
Email: [email protected]

Or you can use this number for all the Rojales taxi's
One number for all taxis : 966 196 999

Hope this helps,

Jan.

Hi Jan,

firstly, thanks for your sudden respons and helpfull advice.
I have already usted the pm with a member and understand what you mean, I guess.
One thing that appeared to become difficult is the links you have been listing up for transportation by bus from airport to torrevieja: they do not work, I am sorry.
I guess, it is due to the abreviacion of the link. Could you please work on that point so that one can use it?

Many thanks. So, actually will use the bus to torrevieja and then following up the taxi of quesada. On the torrevieja homepage there are also taxis listed which are about 45EUR compared to around aobut 55EUR to those on quesadataxi.
I guess it is most practical to negociate the pricing in beforehand by mail or last not least by phone if mail will not succeed in hailing....?!
THX anyway by now,
Melanie

Hi,
I must clear up one point - Quesada taxi who I use is 45euros and they do a deal for return journey at 40euros when booked at same time. That was in December when I last used them.

Also in case anyone is wondering, I just mentioned to Lullaby that PM's are best used to pass on personal information such as contact details and not for general questions and answers, as posting these on the forum helps all of us and keeps the forum informative.I'm sure we would all agree on that.

Thank you Melanie for telling us about the links, we will check them out.

Jan
