Javea and Calpe.

Been to these places a few times now and thoroughly recommend them either for a day trip or better still a mini break, spent a couple of nights in Javea last week in the Sol y Mar hotel, very reasonably priced three star facing the beach, clean and friendly with a sea view room with balcony for eighty euros per night. Great location and easy walking distance to some great restaurants and bars. Calpe is very scenic and the seafood restaurants around the beach and harbour are to die for if you like shellfish and seafood tapas of all varieties.

I love Javea but haven't been there for years. We had some family holidays there and it was always lovely around the town in the evenings and I remember the beach was fabulous.

We've never been to Calpe but we want to make it one of our trips soon.
