My brother also got a 200 euro fine for displaying his wife’s disability badge he was driving a Spanish Reg Car! His wife was with him of course, he went to fight it and was told not worth fighting just pay the reduction of 100 euros

You cannot use a UK issued blue badge on a Spanish car since the UK left the EU, you must obtain a blue badge in Spain.

Brexit the gift thats keeps on giving.

It's not really town hall business though is it, it's the cops who will fine you not the mayor!

True but we already know they are not valid in Spain so unless they assume to control the cops and instruct them to ignore offenders they are not going to prevent you being fined.

As I said in my original reply we use one with the Spanish translation from our Gov.uk website asking for it to be recognised while we are on vacation. I re-visited the site and it now says in relation to Spain that its up each region to decide whether or not to recognise it. It would be nice to know exactly what the local areas decision on using a UK Blue Badge while on vacation in our area which I guess for most of us will be Torrevieja or Orihuela Costa actually is?
I also noted when looking again at the Gov.uk website that its only Spain and France that have an issue. Most of the other EU countries allow the use of UK Blue badge to be used while on vacation either with that countries translation or with no restrictions.
I guess given others replies to having fines that we have been lucky when using ours.
